Andy Morimoto is Director of Research, Office of the Chairman, at the Paulson Institute. In this role, he manages a wide range of special projects and research activities for the chairman, former Treasury Secretary Henry M. Paulson Jr., on topics including US-China economic and environmental relations and the US economy. He additionally supports Secretary Paulson’s leadership of the Aspen Economic Strategy Group. He previously conducted research and analysis on trade and the global economy at The Chicago Council on Global Affairs. He earned a MA in international relations from The University of Chicago, and a BA in political science and history from The University of North Carolina at Charlotte, where he graduated summa cum laude. He lives in Chicago with his wife and three children.
