BUSINESS HONORS PROGRAM

Members of the Business Honors Program (BHP) participate in stimulating coursework, leadership activities, career-building exercises, and community service endeavors designed to promote marketability after graduation. BHP students typically enroll in two Honors courses per year for the duration of their college career. Classes are kept small to facilitate faculty and student interaction. BHP members also have access to a specialized Academic Advisor who ensures correct progression of the degree. Upon successful completion of the program, students will receive Honors commendation on their academic transcript.
When can I apply?
Students may apply as a high school senior or during their freshman or sophomore year.
What are the GPA requirements?
You must maintain a 3.5 overall GPA while in the program.
What are the curricular requirements?
Students will complete 24 hours of honors coursework within the Belk College of Business and must take at least one additional honors college course. Visit the program website to learn more about the required courses and thesis options.
