Welcome to The Honors College, the academic and support hub for high-achieving UNC Charlotte undergraduate students. The Honors College includes all members of honors programs, recipients of merit scholarships, students preparing to enter health professions, students seeking endorsement for prestigious national fellowships/awards, and students engaging in undergraduate research.
The Honors College directs the University Honors Program and Crown Scholars, coordinates the Honors Council, and supports the Honors Faculty as well as directors of honors and merit scholar programs; furthermore, we continuously advocate for opportunities to develop all high-achieving undergraduates.
While we provide students with many different benefits and opportunities, one thing is for certain—in the Honors College, it all adds up to the honors experience.
The Honors College at UNC Charlotte seeks a Coordinator of Programming for the University Honors Program, the Albert, Crown and Martin merit scholars programs, and Honors College student activities open to all honors students and merit scholars on campus.
Responsibilities include: coordinating University Honors student programming, including social, enrichment, and community service activities; collaborating with directors of honors and merit scholar programs on activities for all honors students on campus; organizing honors student travel and participation at honors conferences; recruiting high achieving students to UNC Charlotte; program assessment and annual reporting; advising, mentoring, and teaching honors students.
This position will be an integral part of the Honors College team, comprised of professional staff, administrative support staff, faculty fellows, honors program directors and honors faculty across the University.
