Nationally Competitive Awards and Scholarships

The Honors College endorses several high-achieving students every year for nationally competitive awards and fellowships such as the Truman, Goldwater, and Marshall. We provide advising to all students (not just honors students) who are interested in developing a profile likely to lead to a successful nomination. The earlier you start, the better your chances! We provide this information on awards and fellowships so you can learn as much as possible on your own. Once you have researched the various opportunities, interested students may contact Dr. Malin Pereira, Executive Director of the Honors College, or Ms. Karen James, Associate Director for Scholars Advising, for more information.  Please see our page on National Scholarships for Advanced Undergraduate & Graduate Study for more information.
